My professional background is in the medical field. I completed medical school in Germany in 2007, then relocated to the US for residency and fellowship. I have been working clinically as a pediatric anesthesiologist in both academic and private practice settings for ten years.

In 2020 I decided to pursue additional training in the field of translation to apply my clinical expertise to the language industry. Therefore, I completed the Certificate in Professional Translation and Interpreting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2022.

Recently I started my freelance translation business specializing in medical translations and proofreading.
