Bio
As a 100-year-old company founded in Kyoto, ITP is dedicated to fulfilling our mission to society through carrying forward tradition while also delivering business innovations in line with the changing times. The three letters of our new company name "ITP" are derived from the key words "Ideas, Technology, People." This name encapsulates our goal to contribute broadly to our customers and society through the deployment of a diverse range of information services.IDEASWe communicate closely with our customers to identify the true nature of problems and create ideas that become the keys towards finding solutions.TECHNOLOGYIn order to optimally realize the ideas we have created, we devote ourselves to the daily study of technology and use our advanced skills to shape information.PEOPLEEach of our employees demonstrate their abilities and build positive relationships between people to make contributions to only our customers, but a wide range of people in society.Company HistoryFounded as a printing company in 1916, ITP was first based in Kyoto, Japan's world-class city of history and culture. At that time, our main business focused on printing wrapping paper for use in major local department stores, but as these stores expanded nationwide, we opened branch offices in major cities throughout Japan, including Tokyo and Nagoya. From printing to promotion, we have expanded our business to become a partner company dedicated to fulfilling the various needs of our customers. After the end of WW2, our company was one of the first to start dealing with a major automaker which would later develop into a global company. We then expanded our business domain from printing to the editing and translation of owner's manuals and other documents for passenger vehicles. In line with the overseas strategies of major automakers, we made our first foray into the U.S. market in 1989, and in recent years, we have established a presence in the fast-growing Asian market. Currently, we have built a sales network of 11 domestic and 12 overseas branch offices. With our sight always set towards the future of information services, we will continue to provide innovative solutions in line with the growth of our customers.
