English to Spanish: Peroxide Penetration into the Pulp
Source text - English The success of bleaching procedures is directly related to the ability of the whitening agents to penetrate enamel and dentin. In recent studies, it has been shown that both H2O2 and CP penetrate enamel and dentin, then enter the pulp chamber. Whereas information about pulpal penetration from whitening strips is not available. Therefore, this in vitro study was designed to evaluate the H2O2 penetration of two whitening strips containing 6.5% and 14% H2O2 into the pulp chamber of teeth.

Experience
Years of experience: 23. Registered at ProZ.com: Jun 2007.
I'm a native Spanish speaker with a vast experience in translation. I've been in contact with English since I was 8 years old, and thus have a very integrated in english vocabulary, general and specialized, all of which makes me a bilingual proffesional. I am also a dentist, so my field of specialization extends over all the odontological area.
I've worked as a freelance translator for several years. I have also worked as a bilingual attendant (in Argentina and in the United States). At the present I work as a dentist. I know in deep all odontologic techniques and materials, so there's virtually nothing I wouldn't be able to translate. If I don't find the term, I can easily grasp it by context, technique or aproximate search.
Working language pair:
English > Spanish
Spanish > English
I'm able to translate without any trouble almost any subject withing the odontological scene, such as biology, chemistry, fisiology, histology, farmacology, odontological techiques, odontological materials and instruments. Thus, I can easily translate medical, chemical (and similar) papers and terms.
Professional qualification:
Third Level Studies: Dentistry. DDS, given by the Universidad de Mendoza, in 2007. Mendoza, Argentina.
Many postgrade courses in diverse dentistry topics (such as: Esthetics, Implantology, Operatory Dentistry, Periodonthics, Endodontics, etc) and translation training courses.
I also work as university teacher in the Universidad de Mendoza in Epidemiology. I'm currently taking an Intermediate Epidemiology postgraduate course in Academia Nacional de Medicina in Buenos Aires.
