Trados vs Wordfast

Is it true that Wordfast TM files are fully compatible with Trados, and if so, what advantage does Trados have over Wordfast? Thanks in advance for any tips.

Wordfast and Trados have totally different formats of their TMs. WF’s format is specified in the respective manual. Trados’ format is not disclosed. TM exchange between the programs can be made by the means of uncleaned Word documents or TMX files.

As for the question of Trados vs. Wordfast, do search this forum and Web, you’ll find lots of discussions and materials on this topic.
