Difficulties with TMX > TXT converter

I am having difficulties with the TMX > TXT conversion tool which I have successfully used on a number of occasions in the past.

I downloaded the tool which is available in the Wordfast Yahoo Groups. I am able to convert the TMX file to a txt. file but when I try to import the txt. file into Wordfast, Wordfast tells me it is not a Wordfast file.

I have also tried importing the TMX file directly into Wordfast but without success.

There may be something in the TMX file that Wordfast doesn't like. Try running the TMX file through one of my scripts, here:

Did you try the newer converter (WfConverter.exe) by the same author? You can find a link to it here:

WF2TMX is what you need:

TXT in Unicode, as destination file

TMX as UTF-8, as destination file

If you have mish-mash in an endoding, use some tool for fixing it, or text editor and F-R feature.

Wordfast can select + convert into TXT the TMX in Unicode.
